I have made a little sewn fawn. Again for my Christmas craft stall (as everything is at the moment, but only 2 weeks to go now!)

Knitted Christmas socks

I have made socks before (not as complicated as it sounds) but this is my first attempt at patterned socks.

The first sock I made looked ok, but I had a bit of a problem in that it wasn't stretchy (due to the 'floats' as apparently their called, which stopped it stretching) so this became a stocking instead, a nice stocking though!

So second attempt I looked up about floats and pattern knitting to get some tips on what to do about the problem. Now one sock down and almost through the next, and they are now stretchy yipeee!

Handmade Reindeer

I have just made this little reindeer. Lots of sewing was involved and was a bit fiddly, but got there in the end.

Reindeer Pendant. A bit early 2 think about Christmas?

Ok, so thinking of Christmas a bit early me thinks! But people keep talking about it and its only just september.

But here's a pendant that I just made. I don't usually make themed jewellery as I like jewellery to be lasting and kept rather than to be just a temperary thing. But I do love Christmas and this can be brought out and worn each year.

I designed this pendant and then cut it from a sheet of aluminium.
