Cakes

I have a new recipe book, so have been making a few cakes from it.

I tried this one out, a browned butter and cinnamon teacake, but unfortunately it was so good it all got eaten before I was able to take a pic of it!

I then made some Macaroons and topped them with chocolate, nice and sweet.

And here's them with some daffodils that came out of our garden, very spring like.

Pressies

I got some pressies!! A new set of scales, which will definitely help with my cooking, should be much more accurate than my last ones.

I also got a new book to cook from, so lots of new recipes to test out.

Cupcakes

I see lots of pretty cupcakes when I'm browsing around the net, so have been making a few myself.

I put some in my fav cake tin.

Yum, writing this is making me hungry, I may hav 2 go and eat one!!

I like to do a bit of weekend baking and am always trying out new recipes and going back to some of my favs.

I have a few mishaps, but then it wouldn't be quite as fun if you didn't would it?!

I made a toffee cake (yet to be tasted- I will let you know the verdict)

And a chocolate spread teacake, which I have made before (and so already kno it is yummy) :)

So by now u probably can I tell I love baking, among a many other things. So I have been making again, I made rock cakes and sunshine bars (Don't ya just love the name!) and heres some pics.

Ok, so I love the idea of a tea party, so here is my make believe one with the lemon cakes I made.

I am currently waiting for my next batch of cakes to cook, yummy!

I've been making cakes again!

This time I've made lemon cakes, yummy.

I was just showing off my cake stands in these pics!! :) It makes me happy!

Cupcake

I have just been experimenting with making cup cake cases. I saw a beautiful butterfly one in a magazine and thought it was amazing, though unfortunatly very expensive, so I thought- y not make my own?!

So here it is, thought it would be cute for birthdays. I have also been preactising my icing skills to make these pretty little choc cupcakes.
